During the inspection, the surveyor performs thorough checks, including: Visual inspection: cables, hooks, pulleys, metal structures, and hydraulic systems. Functional testing: movement of booms, cargo lifting, rotation, braking, and operation of load limiters. Safety system evaluation: alarms, locks, overload limiters, and emergency devices.
